About Max & Felix Adventures
Max & Felix Adventures is a small, manually curated gallery of illustrated stories about Max, an enthusiastic Border Collie, and Felix, his clever black-cat friend. The stories are fiction, but the friendship is real.
The real Max and Felix
Max and Felix are real pets, and they are best friends. Max is a Border Collie and Felix is a black cat. Two other cats share the house with them: Batman and Nala.
In the stories, Max is full of enthusiasm and always ready to rush in and help, while Felix stays calm, observant, and just a little bit clever. That is the way we like to portray them. The adventures they have here are still made up.
How the adventures are made
AI helps write the story text and create the illustrations. I choose the theme, read every draft, and only publish the adventures I am happy with, so the tone stays gentle and Max and Felix stay themselves.
Real life and make-believe
The adventures on this site are fictional and illustrated. Our social accounts show both sides: real-life clips of the pets as they are, and adaptations of the illustrated adventures. If you want to see the real Max and Felix doing real cat-and-dog things, that is where to look.
